On behalf of the IvyQ Planning Committee and the board of Yale GALA, we write to invite you to share in two momentous events: the 2nd Yale LGBT Reunion and IvyQ: the Fourth Annual Ivy League LGBTQ Conference, both taking place at Yale from February 7th - 10th, 2013.
IvyQ is a comprehensive undergraduate LGBTQ and allied conference for students in the Ivy League and beyond. Now in its fourth year, the goals of this conference are threefold: to educate, empower, and promote activism within the LGBTQ and allied student communities. We expect approximately 500 students to participate in the conference in February 2013, which will be hosted at Yale.
Yale GALA will be hosting their 2nd LGBT Reunion the same weekend, creating a strong partnership between the two fantastic events. The GALA reunion expects 500 alums from many generations to come together on Yale’s campus for a fantastic weekend of speakers, social events, a benefit concert, and a grand banquet uniting IvyQ and Yale GALA. On that note, we invite you to sponsor the Reunion, and to support not only Yale alumni but also LGBTQ and allied students from across the Ivy League.
Without your support, none of this will be possible. Your donation means the possibility of increased participation between IvyQ and Yale GALA, strengthening and enriching both organizations. By lending your support to GALA and IvyQ, you can take pride in knowing your sponsorship will allow individuals of all identities and backgrounds to experience this weekend of education, activism, and empowerment.
